Windows 11 Taskbar Clock Mod

Have Windows 11 and want to adjust the clock/date in the taskbar's notification area to your liking?

Tired of waiting for Microsoft to release a new build that "fixes" the minimalism that's forced upon us users?

As of late, Microsoft's dev team seems to think that less is more. Well...

If you'd like to have something similar to the screenshots above, as of build 22000.652 - you'll need 3rd party software.

There are currently several free apps available from various developers to customize the clock/date in the taskbar. One such app is made by Ramen Software (AKA RAMMichael), known for his excellent 7+ Taskbar Tweaker which many used to customize Windows 7 through Windows 10.

Since Microsoft made significant changes to Windows 11' taskbar, a new app was born - Windhawk.

Once installed, you can select which mods you'd like to add. One of the mods is called "Taskbar Clock Customization". Add it, click on "Details" and use the "Settings" tab to customize to your liking.

* RAMMichael is known as m417z (Michael Maltsev) on GitHub, so it should be safe to add mods made by him, as he is the original author of the app.

*Keep in mind that Windhawk is still in beta, so some features may not work as expected.
