With the new firmware v2.0 update, the camera can shoot video up to a whopping 5K (4992x3744) with 10bit 4:2:2 color. That's quite amazing.
Do keep in mind that to take advantage of all that high res, you'll need an SDXC V90-class microSD card. Not cheap, but definitely worth it.
If you're serious about editing footage, you'll also need to unlock the V-Log L profile, which is a paid extra (about $97 USD + shipping).
